I wouldn't be surprise when they release the Blu-ray for TMNT 2, that amazon releases a version with a Bebop or Rocksteady figure, like they did with the Raph figure, Which I still have.
Figures for those two characters are gonna be huge for collectors. |

Looks like the UK got more confidence in this movie as I've seen tweets from Nick UK and Paramount UK promoting this movie already.

Unlikely-- what if krang comes in third act and turtles go back in time with the utroms ? Their were turtle things on the scroll along with utroms in Eric Sachs room.

They aught to do more than one character this time, I'm sure plenty of the other Turtles' fans want a chance to own similar. At the very least do one of the other Turtles and one of the baddies. Leo statue figure in those pants... want. |

Dimension X (Lead-in to 3rd film)
part of me hopes that the Turtles get sucked up into the portal that opens up in the skies of NYC, and end up in the time of the dinosaurs...
...and then they have to travel through various time periods to return to NY. ...essentially Turtles in Time: The Movie. |

The 1st film was grounded more in reality, and now the sequel is really opening up to the parts of TMNT, that are more fantastical with the scifi elements. I can't believe we finally get a movie where we will have Dimension X plus Krang With other sequels they can do the mystical elements and maybe some time travel. |

See, this is exactly why I'm so skeptical about this movie. Because you get this:
Spoiler:
...which sounds a little promising, owning the fact that the first movie failed and treated the Turtles like supporting characters in their own movie. Okay. And then you get this... Spoiler:
...which also sounds a little promising, at least from a character perspective, making you hope they got things right this time. And then you get this... Spoiler:
...which tells me, nope, they didn't actually listen this time either and instead ran full-speed in another wrong direction instead of actually trying to understand the property they're dealing with. Again. The problem with the first movie wasn't the shadows. The shadows are fine! They're freaking ninjas! The shadows are expected and appreciated, and are in fact a core part of the entire freaking concept! We just need a plot that makes sense, with genuine emotion and characters we care about. We don't need brightness, Fast & Furious-style chase scenes, and more explosions -- we need intense ninja action with real, personal, emotional stakes. That was the problem with the first movie, and it doesn't seem like they understood that at all. Again!

Awesome, thank you!
I'd like to place a bit of faith in what's being said here... hope it's proven true. (Still reading though.) Quote:
No, Leo, you have plenty of fans that love you and know you're awesome.Edit: Wait... Knoxville...? If Pete is only in for a trailer and they change it between now and then. Grr. Dammit article, don't dash my hopes. Last edited by IndigoErth; 12-10-2015 at 08:31 PM. |

Boo that's only from the "fans" who just seen the OT and think Leo is a one note wet blanket.

Wow, that's a really interesting article. I'm really starting to hate Liebesman, almost more than Bay. I feel real sorry for all the actors.

Okay. I said the same in another thread, but it bears repeating:
I "get" why the PD team is trying to throw Liebesman under the bus, because they're all covering their own asses and he's an easy scapegoat. But that's just them trying to frame their own narrative and dodge responsibility for a movie that disappointed a lot of people. Don't buy it -- that movie's problems stemmed from every single step of the creative process, starting long before he was hired. As bad a job as he did (and he did a terrible job), it's not all on Liebesman, not by a long shot. He was cherry-picked for the job by the people in charge for very specific reasons. And everyone else who dropped the ball last time is still involved in this one.
