Anyway, what should we do now, Leo?

Splinter: I believe it is an old threat. InGen, who originally turned her into what she is now. They are the only ones I can think of who would have the knowledge and means to do this.

*Leo nodded* From now on we're going to be on full alert. Two will always be guarding Machias, and we'll take turns. There's not much we can do except keep an eye out. These people seem to want to avoid confrontation. There's no doubt they have some kind of surveillance. Don, see if you can pick up any signals.

Don: I was careless with the security system before, but I won't make the mistake again.

Right, excellent notion, Leo! I can take the first watch, if no one objects. Who wants to join me?
*looks around*

[Skeletoncrew]

I'd love to join you Azure! Now that I'm all fresh and clean again I'm ready for anything!

[Kali]

Splinter: Good. I'm going to go check on Machias, then get some sleep. I suggest that those who need it get some as well.

*Mike raises his hand* Can I come with you to check on Machias?

Splinter: Of course Michaelangelo. *they both go off to Machias' room*

*Leo looks at SC and Azure* Okay, you two have the first watch.

*Don hands something to Azure* Here, if anything happens, just press this red button. It'll alert us.

[Skeletoncrew]

~Are we just going to be guarding Machias, or the whole place? I'm just wondering where Azure and I are going to be, outside her room?~

*Takes towel off of head*

Let me just go hang this up and I'll be all set!

[Kali]

~Well, you can decide, but I think at least one of you should stay near Machias, and maybe the other could scout around.~

*eyes the red button*
Hmm, okay! Thanks, Don. You can count on us! All right, SC. What's the game plan?

*returns from hanging towel up*

Well, you're the one with the warning button at the moment, and I have a small project I could work on quietly. Do you want to walk the perimeter while I keep an eye on Machias? I thought it would probably be safe enough to just sit a chair across from her door and peek in on her every once in a while.

We could trade every hour or so off throughout the night. That way no one has to spend too much time on their feet.

*nods his head*
Sounds fair enough. I'll be right outside. If you need me, just yell.
*looks at the others*
Pleasant dreams for the rest of ya!
*walks out of the lair*

[Kali]

*yawns* I am totally wiped. It's been a rough day.

Leo: Yeah, rest up because we've still got a lot of work ahead of us. Until Machias is back on her feet, she'll need us to protect her.

Raph: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

*Leo, Don, Raph, and Kali go off to their rooms to sleep*

[Skeletoncrew]

*Settles down on the floor across from Kali's room. Starts pulling things out from her duffle back. A book, ceramic bowl, measuring spoons, a couple jars of oil, and some packets of herbs.*

*Peeks in on Machias, she's sleeping soundly. Begins mixing things in the bowl, talking quietly to self.*

Okay...one part pepperwort, one part Red Storax, a pinch of Saffron, and a few drops of musk oil.

*sniffs air*

Phew! That kinda stinks. Better pack it up fast!

*Pours mixture into a jar, cleans up mess, and adopts a meditative pose, jar in hand.*

*stands outside, a few feet away from the lair's entrance*
All right...if anyone's out there, you better watch out. I'm a ninja with mad skills. I'm not afraid of anything!
*starts to pace*
Not afraid of foot soldiers or mutants or goblins...
*gets interrupted by a loud crashing noise to his right*
Eeeep!
*jumps*
All right...I'm all right...
*cautiously walks in the direction of the noise, gripping his katana's handle*
I'm not afraid of anything...but if you're a ghost...uh...please stay away?
*whimpers as he goes off to investigate*

[Skeletoncrew]

*Skeletoncrew's eyes fly open. She thought she may have heard something outside, but wasn't sure. Checks in on Machias. She's still sleeping.*

Well Azure has his red button if its anything bad.

*looks at watch.*

Should be about time to switch posts. We should have walkie-talkies or something.

*approaches an odd pile of junk on the sewer floor*
What the...was all this here before? Maybe I should tell Donny about this when I get back. That noise seemed to have come from somewhere around here.
*cautiously looks over the pile*
Umm...it doesn't seem like there's anything dangerous around here.
*hears a light clanking noise*
Ahh!
*jumps and turns around, quickly drawing his katana out of its resting place*
Okay...who's there? Don't make me drag you out of there...
*slowly walks behind the pile and gasps*
A rat!!
*sighs, as the frightened rodent runs away*
It was only a rat...phew, I'm really on edge. Maybe I should head back to the lair.
*walks away from the odd pile*

*walks back into the lair, and finds SC performing some sort of odd ritual*
Uh...SC, sorry to bother you, but do you want to switch posts now? Y'know, the sewers are really creepy all of a sudden...I heard a loud crashing noise a while ago, but when I went to investigate, all I found was a rat and a large pile of weird junk. I can't remember if that junk was always there...
*wonders if SC heard him*

~I thought these were caves, not the sewers?~

*Gets up and puts jar into bag*

Sure Azure, I'm all done making this incense. BTW, are there any walkie-talkies around here? It would be nice if we were able to communicate with each other while on watch.

Azure: I'm not sure. Maybe if one of the guys wakes up and wanders by I could ask. At least take this

*Hands SC the red button*

*Puts button in pocket and turns to leave.*

Azure: Wait! Do you have a weapon or anything, just in case?

*shrugs and smiles*

I've got a riding crop in my bag and these are steel-toed boots. Plus I've got a few surprises for anyone who cares to cause trouble. Don't worry about me.

*Heads out to patrol*

~You're right, we're in caves, not the sewers.~

*Leo couldn't sleep. He got up and went for a walk. If he couldn't sleep, he'd at least help with patrolling.*

(( OOPS! My bad...I thought we were in the "sewer" lair. Ech. ))

*watches SC leave*
Hmm...she's a strange one. Ah well, at least I get the place to myself for a change! And the TV's all mine! Heh heh heh...
*turns on the TV, making sure that the volume is very, very low*
Oooh, it's Miss Cleo!! She knows everything.
*begins to watch, but decides to check on Machias first*
Poor girl. At least she seems to be sleeping peacefully.
*walks back to the TV*
All right, Miss Cleo! Go on and dazzle me.

~BTW, FYI, I am deaf in one ear and can't hear directionally. In other words, if a twig snaps off to my right, I won't know it was off to my right. Just thought it would be useful for everyone to know.~

*Leaves bag inside front entrance taking a few items from it first. Walks out into the darkness. Slips on a pair of nightvision goggles and scans the area.*

Hmm...looks like Azure's mysterious pile of junk.

*Heads towards the pile, watching carefully for any movement.*

*Leonardo walks into the living room and finds Azure intently watching a fake psychic on TV. He walks up behind him and crosses his arms.*

Leo: So, how's Machias?

*Azure jumps up off the couch and pulls his katana. See that its Leo, he relaxes a bit.*

Azure: She's fine. I was just about to go check on her.

Leo: Uhh-huh. Skeletoncrew patrolling outside?
