*Leatherhead jumps over all of them and grabs Mike*

Leatherhead: I could kill him with one hit! And yous all know it by gumbo! I be gettin' outta hea now! An' I be takin' this little fellow with me!

*Leatherhead runs off into the shadows carrying Mike*

"We have to go after him!" Leo cried.

"But Mike..." Don argued.

"That dude'll crush him if we DON'T rescue him," Raphael shouted back.

Leatherhead: You better be shuttin' your trap boy!

Mike: Go suck a lemon dude!

Leatherhead: How about you suck the wall?

*Leatherhead keeps running*

Sp: We have a better chance of rescuing Michaelangelo if we do not chase them. Your brother is critically injured, and chasing after them could have dire consequences.
I have a feeling that there is something ominous about this...as though this might have been planned.

Raph crossed his arms. "So what do we do? Go home and wait for the ransom note?"

Leo shot Raph a look. He didn't like leaving Mike with Leatherhead anymore than Raph did, but he did trust Splinter's judgement.

*Leatherhead jumps out of the sewer into the busy streets. A car runs into him but he shoves it out of the way*

Mike: What are you gonna do with me dude?

Leatherhead: I'm gonna use you as bait!

Mike: Great! Well what if I decided to do this?

*Mike pulls his chucks from his belt with his foot and slams them into Leatherheads under side*

Leatherhead: OOOOOOOH! MY GUMBO!

*Leatherhead lets go of Mike and Mike crawls off into an alley and hides under some paper*

Mike (Whisper) : You gotta save me dudes.

SP: Actually, it can be the opposite. I can do some 'soul searching', and attempt to locate him. Since they know that we did not follow them, they will not expect us to, 'drop in for a visit'.

Raphael: I can't wait around here knowing that my bro is out there with that big goon. I'm going to look for him, with or without you guys.

Don: Wait Raphael, come back!! What will Master Splinter say!?

Raph storms out of the sewer on a personal quest to save Mike. He has a big score to settle with Leatherhead and can't wait for the chance to shove a Sai right through his skull.

He continues on to the place where they had their last confrontation. He follows the path Leatherhead took and spots a very small trail of blood, probably from poor Mike's head. Raph continues on this path. The blood stops and forms a small pool off to one side. He looks up and spots a manhole cover. "Jackpot" Raph says to himself.

(OOC - I won't be able to post much untill late, say 9PM. If it is necessary to continue the story, write Raph and Don in again. Very good job so far.)

Leatherhead: That there turtles ain't gonna get the best of ol' Leatherhead by gumbo! I'm a gonna find you boy and once I do I'll be rippin' you to shreds I garoooonte!

Meanwhile at the other end of the alley...

Mike (whisper) : Oh dude...not him again! I can hardly stand but I've gotta get out of here somehow. My bod is really aching though and I feel real tired.

*Mike lifts his hand to his head and feels the stiches busted opened. He begins to poke around his body and finds yet more cuts and holes*

Mike (whisper) : I have no choice. If I'm gonna die...I'll go down fighting like a turtle!

*Mike jumps out from behind the boxes and pulls out his chucks to face Leatherhead*

Mike: Let's do this hand bag!

Leatherhead: Oh I be happy to oblige I garooonte!

(Splinter comes from his study. He has a worried look on his face.)

SP:My students, I have located Michaelange- Where is Raphael? Oh,I take it he went after them. I will deal with him when the time comes.
Nevertheless, I have located your brother up above. They are not far, but Michaelangelo is in dire need of help. They are in an alley two blocks from here to the northwest.You must hurry, my sons.

(OOC: I am going to have a difficult time getting a chance to write in over the next two days, so either someone can use my character for me, or just let him be.)

Raphael emerges from the sewers, still follwing the blood trail. He is forced to make some quick maneuvers around traffic, but makes it to the streets safely. He leans up against a building to get his bearings and to figure out which way to go next. He hears some loud talking and what sounds like chains clanging. Naw, could it be that he found Mike already?

Meanwhile in the sewers Don and Leo are following the directions Master Splinter gave them.

Don: These directions are taking us to the place where we last fought that leathery monster. Do you think we'll find Mike in time Leo?

*Mike sees his breath in the air. It's freezing out and the cold is begining to make his cuts sting.*

Mike: I'm not running any more...

Leatherhead: That might not be such a wise decision boy. Ol' Leatherhead is gonna make you pay for hittin' my gumbo!

*Mike spins his chucks around on his finger then raises his hand and motions for Leatherhead to bring it. Leatherhead dives at Mike claws first. Mike jumps into the air and cracks the chucks down over Leatherheads snout. The both land on their feet and turn around. Leatherhead smirks then pulls out one of Shredders guns*

Mike: Damn...

*Leatherhead begins blasting and Mike tries to dodge all the flying lasers but gets caught on the leg. He tumbles sideways and lands shell down on the pavment. He uses a can to get to his feet and stares at Leatherhead. Leatherhead stares right back.*

Mike: Cowabunga dude!

Leatherhead: What you be sayin' turtle?

*Leatherhead turns around to see something shiny heading towards his face*

Leatherhead quickly falls to his feet after catching a Sai right between the eyes. Raph had found where they were fighting and leaped into the air and caught Leatherhead off guard.

Raph: Take that you poor excuse for a handbag!! That should teach you to mess with my Bro!!

Leatherhead squints as the blood runs down his face and into his eyes.

Leatherhead: You're gonna pay for that, by gumbo!
