Semi-Bad news for PC fans

From the official TMNT site:

Quote:
Bad news on the PC gaming front - Konami has delayed the release of the new TMNT game until November. All other platforms are still scheduled to ship on October 21.

There isn't any need to say things like that. Both of you have an opinion and if you can't discuss it in a mature fashion then don't discuss it at all.

The turth is, that PC version are always technically more advanced, but lack in the controll department. Try PC version of MGS2 for example. It always depends on what you prefer, A Big TV screen or a small computer screen.

Games like TMNT, I don't even consider getting it for PC.

I would hate to sit at my computer and play a game, its not comfortable and I have a nice chair. Its just not right, playing games on the computer.

For FPS or real time strategy games, I don't even consider a console. Tv resolution is too small, and you really need a mouse and keyboard.

Yeah, Metroid was the only First Person game I could stand playing On a TV. As for Quake, Doom Etc it's all about the PC.

I forgot about that one actually, and It was actually good.. But, I think it might have been a little better on a PC. (Simply for the controll scheme)

you should try Timesplitters 2. That game's made by the same team who made Goldeneye. Not sure if there's a PC version or not though.

I find that comment a bit funny seeing as how:

1. Consoles are a type of computer themselves
2. Many of the first games were FOR computers
3. You have greater control over control configuration on a computer keyboard (especially for FPS games already mentioned) as well as the graphic cababilities (does the word "bumpmapping" ring a bell?)

Don't even think about throwing the "but you have to sit close to the screen and that's bad for you" arguement at me; if that's a problem for you, buy a joystick/control pad (yes, they do make the latter for PCs).

EliteRaph: Hey, don't let one extremely crappy console-to-PC port epitomize th concept...dig?

Bumpmapping is available on X-Box. In fact Halo 2 has had the crap bumpmapped out of it. I guess I just don't like computer games. I'd rather stick with my Nintendo systems any day.

I can patiently wait for another month for the PC version to come out. I do not video game consoles. Plus my TV is very small. I watch my DVDs on my computer......it is pretty fun.
