Size problem.

Am I the only one who thinks that in the old cartoon the turtles look a little short for teenagers?

They look just fine for teenage TURTLES. Who's to say how high a real TMNT would be? Plus many human teenagers aren't necessarily that tall either, so yes, they look fine. If they were 7 feet tall, in fact that would look quite ridiculous.

The TMNT are 5'2". Sometimes they seem to look tall.

But when they talk to someone who's 6ft. They look short.

I think in the old toon the TMNT were only like 4 feet tall but I'm not sure. They made jokes about four feet tall talking turtles not being weird as something else.

Funny thing is they're teenagers, but they've always seemed so adult-like anyhow I always forget the 'teenage' aspect.

I always chuckle when the age discussion comes up because, even in the old cartoon, the Turtles never acted like teenagers. I always thought of them as being in their mid-twenties.

And the image of the Turtles being four feet tall doesn't sit well with me, either. I'd prefer to think of them as being at least 5'6" tall. Somewhere in that range, but not taller than 6'0".

Well.. April and all the other humans around them are adults... and for the most part adults are taller than teenagers... the TMNT were still taller than children younger than them.

They look short. __________________ I am a fan of TMNT and I'm still one today. I got into the habbit back in 1992 or 93' when I was little. I would like to thank my 2 year older cousin for getting me in the habbit. 2001 was when I revised my knowledge on TMNT. And today I'm a bigger fan than I was years ago. I have all 3 TMNT Movies, current Toon, and old school Toon on DVD.
