When I first got him, I took him to the beach a lot and he played there. By the time he was six months old, he figured that if it was blue, then it was time to play.

Okay, I know its not midterm times yet, but i just gotta vent...

this past month of school has been nothing but problems...My roommate is some sort of asylum reject, who moves in and out of our room every weekend, my friends are fighting with each other...and i'm getting bombarded by work like there's no tomorrow...

I feel lost, and surrounded by enemies...I have been comtemplating my future as a college student, considering we're lucky to be paying right now...My major, Yeah, i like it, its just that...I'm an artist. I write, i draw, i sing...I'm not the type to stare down the tube of a microscope. But the problem is, there's no way i'd be able to get a good job in the fine arts sector...I'm better off with the Marine Bio major, but even that can have problems...

Most of our school is Science oriented...which means that about 2000 students form our school alone will be out there looking for jobs. That means competition like you would not believe...The past demand has created a supply of ultra proportions, where now we can either be not hired, or given such a lousy pay rate, we'd have to get another job on the side.

I want so much to be able to involve the arts in my work...I cant sing with the whales, but i can at least illustrate animals and new species for books and papers, and write articles and such...I just feel so unsure these days. I was down in the cafe, and jsut about felt like bawling my eyes out. I should really be off getting my work done, but i'm just feeling so hopeless, i just want to curl up in my bed, fall asleep and never wake u...or sleep for a very long time.

*sigh* I'm done...

Aww... I'm sorry to hear that, Machias. Remember to relax, and take everything one day at a time. Don't lose hope. Life always has its ups and downs. Sooner or later, you'll hit one of those ups, and you'll be feeling better than ever. Don't let the stress eat away at you because that isn't healthy. Keep your chin up, and do your best.
