TMNT 1 (NES) Official Records Thread

Well, I have decided to make a thread so that we can all put our 'records' for this game. If you think you've done something somewhat difficult, then post what you have done. Then other people can try and beat those records. Oh, and since there is no way to verify these, I'll ask that nobody lies

So I guess I'll start things off:

Finished Game Using Only Donatello & Raphael: PanMan
Finished Game Without Using Donatello: PanMan
Completed The Dam Level With 31 Seconds Remaining: PanMan
Beat Shredder Without Getting Hit: EZweasel, PanMan

I'll add records to this first post as you guys submit them. If more than one person set the same record, both will get credit.

My next goal is to finish the game using only two turtles. I don't think that will be very easy though

How can we be so sure? I can say I finished the game without getting hit once, and you have absolutely no way to prove it.

Heh, my record isn't very impressive, but it's the best I've got:

Beat the game once, with the help of Game Genie: Psycho Andy.

Hey, at least I can beat the swimming level in my sleep. It's just the rest of the game that's tough!

i can beat shredder without being hit once. the trick is getting on the tallest ledge, dunk then use the downward hit when shredder tries to jump. you will nkock him back down everytime. i figured this out the first time i fought him.

or you can drill him with scrolls, or use don to hit him when his right in front of you (although he does end up shooting his gun when you do this) or a variety of other things. he's really not that hard a boss.

for another record, i finished the dam level with 31 seconds left

oh, and i never quite beat the game with only don and raph yet. i tried yesterday and got as far as inside the thechnodrome, but i was too beaten up and i died quickly

FINALLY!!!

i just beat the game with only donny and raph! i am shocked! although i couldn't have done it without those scrolls. fabulous weapons they are!
