Did these become rare all of a sudden?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...39172&rd=1

I still have my unopened case from kaybee when I got so enthusiastic I drove to a mall like 2 hours away just to get the giant figures cuz the small ones weren't out yet.

Well, I don't know which state you live in, but I'm from Upstate New York and my local Wal-Mart still has a bunch of them. So, as far as Upstate N.Y. goes, no, they're not rare...yet.

Actually, the person selling it says it's no longer a focal point of his collection. So he just wants to get rid of it. He started the bid at $1 and people raised it to $26 (so far). So I'm guessing the line isn't rare but the Leonardo one is, or getting there.

ToysandMusic will only be auctioning off these few items from their extensive collection. This item is rare and unique and will make a great gift for any wrestling fan.
I just read that... and I took a double take... say whaaa? TMNT = wrestling?

Hmmm...that's odd. But if you think about it, remember the Wrestling Buddies? Those TMNT big figs kind of have the same size. I don't know. Maybe the resemblance in size made them type that out.

I'm guessing the guy had wrestling toy auctions and just copied and pasted what he said in those and replaced the wrestling with TMNT and just missed that one part. Who knows.

I guess this means the giant figures are gonna go up in price and might be a decent investment.

The giant figures are still 19.99 at TRU and even lower at Walmart (14.99 on clearance if you can still find them). Leonardo IS one of the harder ones to find, but this is just an example of a scalper. You can find it much cheaper, without having to pay shipping. Here you go Skabbz:

Oh. Heh heh. I just re-read your post. I thought you were asking for pics, not someone to pick it up. I work again on Friday, I"ll see if we have any Don's and I'll pick it up for you. They are 19.99, and it would prolly take about 4.00 to ship.

Those arent as rare as the super possible toys are round my house. We used to have like 5000000000 of them and then all of a sudden they all dissappeared
