KRANG AND SHREDDER... READ

how about this?-- live action adaption of the first season of the cartoon.. start it off in japan showing oroku saki taking over the foot and following yoshi to america after he wasnt convinced he was dead.. also to make it more epic, less cartoony.. perhaps add a backstory explaining oroku`s dementia.. keen on taking over the foot clan in america..
then one day while walking the streets of ny ( or someplace in ny) a strange light appears, and as saki peers through a giantic lizard-like creature is being hurdled through the light towards saki, but as he is about to go through, a fantasic light show happens, and literally his head is split from his body. Saki catches the head of the creature in his hands and to his disgust it looks like a giant pink brain. he introduces himself as krang, warlord of dimension x... yada yada yada. (by now the movie can be inter-twine with tmnt backstory.. it is their movie..)
anyway Krang explains to saki that he can make him a big man if he sticks with him, that why rule a measly clan when you can rule the world? Krang instructs Saki to gather (along with a few gangs members saki recruits) the necessary earth components to make a portal, and eventually brings to earth Krang's technodrome to an obscure location, underground. In exchange for this technology, Krang makes shredder promise to build him a robotic body... saki sees this as an oppurtunity to now expand his goal to take over the world with this technology, but his twisted mind also wants to continue to try to kill yoshi.. krang gives him mutagen to prove he has technology that can help them both to rule the world. .. etc u know the rest.. but show a darker krang and shredder.. a krang and shredder then not only want to destroy the turtles and take over the world, but a krang and shredder who secretly have the goals of destroying each other after the help of one another is complete.. shredder who wants revenge on the turtles and krangs technology, and krang who knows he only needs saki for building his body, then he can dispose of him since he is only a measly human.. end it with the technodrome being sucked into dimension x.. but with a twist.. saki gets killed and krang is persecuted or fate is left unknown or technodrome destroyed.. what do you think? of course april is there, and bebop and rocksteady.. basically following the epic begins but with shredder and krang backstory and darker tone

I'd love to see a really dark version of Krang, but I wouldn't want to see another movie starting ALL over again introducing everyone ALL over again...we'd had that with each series and then the original movies...I'm tired of hearing about the ooze transforming them!!

i think the biggest thing for me is that they enevr explained the saki (shredder) and krang connection- how did they meet? how did the technodrome get to earth? when did saki transition from saki to shredder? (my opinoin- demensia a sickness).. in a darker adaption of the old tmnt cartoon i think it would work great.. even krang robot body as silly as it looked in the cartoon would look scarier and more sinister if done the same in a movie, just with krang having a darker personality

Dude...I really think you need to look at this objectivly.

Krang, the original TMNT series, were never meant to be THAT serious, it was a great action show with some excellent humour, if you adapted it into this dark MIRAGE style story, it would'nt be the same cartoon, it'd be a basterdisation of what made it popular.

And Krang's body suit NEVER looked ridiculous.

Heh, I dunno mate... I think when it made those funny tard type noises it looked pretty ridiculous. The face, I mean.

I mean ok... it had a small head with big body. That's pretty funny lookin' if you ask me

right.. i dont mean totally dark.. of course funny moments.. but im talking about the Krang from the first season.. Krang in the first season was a very different Krang from lets say .. season 4-5 ya know hwta im saying

Someone here once gave a pretty good idea of how Krang and Saki met. It went along the lines of...

Krang gets booted out of Dimension X and suddenly appears on Earth. He drops from the sky and lands on Shredder's head. "Gah it's in my hair! Get it off! GET IT OFF!". And in exchange for not being wrapped in a tissue and flushed down the toilet Krange offers Saki limitless otherworldly technology.

Being the old toon it would probably happen along those lines.
