You and Google.

So, does anyone else find it awkward or creepy that some random person could look up your name and practically trace the places you go on the net, or take images you've made and claim it as their own?

Yeah, Google is sort of odd. And what you also can do: when you hardly know a person then you can google up his identity. I did that with the sister of one of my coworkers. I typed her last name and wrestling (she is a female wrestler) and ended up having her name, adress, brithday and picture. that's why I keep myself a low profile I don't give out my real name that easily.

as for the diesturbing stuff I found for Anarky:
God
A wallpaper I did
Anarky Japan

the list goes on...

If I type in my real name I get my white ninja comics fanart I submitted. I'm partially famous!

Yeah, type in "DrSpengler" and you'll get me all over the place. I'd say at least 90-95% of the results are me at some point or another. From my embarassing first few years on the internet, to now.

It is kinda creepy... When I did a search, my old website came up, along with people's pages who had linked to it. I even found a site that seemed to be in Dutch that linked back to me.

You type my (board) name and you get...well, J-Pop stuff. You type my real name and you get some internet service in some faraway country.

Everyone of my names have been copyrighted other than when I was "Bob Nomhanahanbananastan." The search turned up nothing.

My name's too generic, too, Hannah. Heh. I get lots of pictures of people I don't know. Heh.

Oh wait, that's the images, heh.

Just regular searching I get my ff.net profile and another fanfiction profile. And then a bunch of pages from people I don't know. Heh.

Searching for KROW gives you tons of crap.

I got this once while searching Jo's name:

This happened to me too I found posts on message boards I didnt know I ever even went to and I found some web site that stole my wallpapers but thats a different story. Haha why they wanted my Dimmu Borgir wallpaper is beyond me
Guess the sites are down. But when I first posted my Dimmu Wallpaper back when I first made it. My friend sent me a link to a page on Google Images that was filled with my wallpaper it was creepy! And none of them were from the site I hosted it on

I'm not finding anything particularly alarming or unexpected when I search for "damnhooligan" I'm finding posts on message boards I knowingly participate in, my website (in its circa 2001 state), my old livejournal and links to some of my stupid little flash movies.
