IDW gets Transformers

Personally, I was hoping the license would go to Devil's Due but hey, as long as SOMEONE produces a Transformers comic I'll be happy.

Furmans' involved again, so we'll have tight writing...followed by more Galvatron and Unicron...

Well, maybe this time around he'll show some self-control and at least wait til issue 20 to bring those guys in.

Good news: No Pat Lee

Bad News: No Don Figueroea

I hate IDW, their comics are horrible. The writting might be good but the artwork sucks and half the point of buying a comic is the artwork. Otherwise it might as well just be a novel. I espcially hate their Metal Gear comic....and their Castlevania but I buy those for a friend who seems to enjoy them, maybe because Im giving them as a gift?

Looking at my comic collection, I don't own much IDW stuff. 30 Days of Night was alright, haven't bothered with the sequels. THe Dawn of the Dead comic was an absolute waste of time (WHY do a scene-for-scene adaptation of a 30 year-old movie!?).

Then there's an issue of Popbot I read which was only ho-hum.

The editor in chief of IDW actually stopped by in that thread I posted at TFArchive. Seems like a friendly guy and dropped us lots of info.
