TMNT pizzas.

From the autumn (on the Northern Hemisphere, the Southern Hemisphere had spring) of 1991 and the following years, they sold "TMNT pizzas" in Sweden. Was this only in Sweden, or in other countries to?

In the US, yep. Probably Canada too. Other countries, I'm not so sure.

Two questions:

Were those pizzas any good?
Was there a thing the TMNT didn't have, merchandise-wise?

What? Just "Extra Cheese"?

I expected something with pickled herring and caramel fudge. That would be more TMNT-ish.

1) No.
2) I'm not sure TMNT had a great hold on the adult diaper industry, but I could be mistaken.

I'm pretty sure our swedish ones had a different package (just one turtle, only leo I think, and more "kiddyfied" art) can't say if they had the same ingredients tho... must be around 12 years since I had my last one of those

I had one it was great! I even had TMNT Cereal and Ice Cream! The Cereal sucked...
The Ice Cream was okay...

They should bring the Pizza Back and sell it in NY!

After tasting this yack Sonic the hedgehog ketchup i made it a rule at the time never to eat merchandise food, but i don't think it's all doom and gloom. Some of the TMNT gummy things weren't bad. Not to mention i'm a lot less a fuzzy eater these days (though the coffee i drank yesterday was yack but hey that's another story )

I don't think i was able to try the pizza back in the day or maybe i did, you never know. I did have a TMNT kiddie dining table thing that's for sure.

This proves that Denmark is the most boring country in the world!!! I've never seen a turtle pizza in my life It could be fun tasting one though...

Now I can't help thinking about what it would taste like. Was it only "extra cheese" or did they put anything funny on it?
