I'm Getting A PSP Soon..any Suggestions?????

I Know There Are People Here Who Know More About Video Game Systems Then Me (way More). What Do You Guys Suggest I Look For When Purchasing?

I Have Some Questions:
  • What Model Is Currently Out? Is This The Same Model That Was Initially Released? When Is The Next Model Coming Out?
  • Any Bugs In The Psp?
  • Is A 2GB Card Enough For Me If I'm Only Gonna Play My Games, Save Some Music And Not Save Movies? (1GB?)
  • Is It Worth Using It As A Music Player? (I Chose To Purchase The Psp Over An Ipod Because It Does Much More Then Just Music)
  • Can I Put My Ultra High Res Pics On My Psp?
  • Whats The Best Exterior Protection For My Psp? (A Link Can Help)
  • Whats Something That I Probably Dont Expect When I Buy My Psp That Maybe I Should?

It's the same. I don't think we'll be seeing a new one anytime soon.

  • Any Bugs In The Psp?

I've never encountered any bugs with the hardware at all.

  • Is A 2GB Card Enough For Me If I'm Only Gonna Play My Games, Save Some Music And Not Save Movies? (1GB?)

More than enough. I have at least 20 songs and a couple episodes of ATHF on my 1GB stick at all times along with my game saves and I have plenty of space.

  • Is It Worth Using It As A Music Player? (I Chose To Purchase The Psp Over An Ipod Because It Does Much More Then Just Music)

Very worth it. It works well at everything it does. I already have an MP3 player, but I use my PSP when I want to switch between music, videos and games quickly.

  • Can I Put My Ultra High Res Pics On My Psp?

Yes. The PSP has a beautiful screen. Everything looks amazing on it.

  • Whats The Best Exterior Protection For My Psp? (A Link Can Help)

I just use the soft case it came with. I usually have it in one of my many huge jacket pockets, so the case is just so it won't get scratched.

  • Whats Something That I Probably Dont Expect When I Buy My Psp That Maybe I Should?

I don't know what you could expect. You'll probably be surprised at how amazing the screen actually is. I know I was.

Can I Put My Ultra High Res Pics On My Psp?

Ive been just recently putting images on mine and when I went to go check them it would say data not supported, and couldnt open the image, but it could open some of them, and they were all Jpeg format so I was wondering what the hell was going on, but it seems that any file over 1MB can't be opened, I resized and shrunk them a bit and it worked fine, so as long as they are under 1MB, they can be viewed and used as wallpaper on the PSP.

It is a must have, but 1GB card is perfect.
