Thanks, GK. Anyways, traveling the world is sooooo much better without the damn Oblivion gates popping up every now and then. What has everyone else been up to? I've just started on the Thieves Guild quests and I'm still waiting to get my special armor for finishing off the main quest. I hope it looks totally bad ass. I'm probably going to create another character soon, maybe a total Mage or something. It should be fun. The whole creating your own magical staff thing looks pretty awesome.

Yeah, I went through mages with my original character, but it just wasnt the same, his skills were so low, so there was no fun to be had by using magic other than the cool and powerful staffs. But I shall run through it with my argonian mage and shock stuff beyond belief!

My best friend is also playing the game and yesterday he killed the dark brotherhood guy who comes to you in your sleep (Lucious or something). So he lost his link to the brotherhood and now he can't do any of the quests. I died laughing. Although, I'm pretty sure he has a saved file from before that. Although, I must say that the guy had pretty cool stuff.

New DLC out on Xbox Live. Nothing big, some horse armor.

Anyways, I found yet another wicked awesome item last night. Easily the most fun. It's called the Wabbajack! Minor spoilers ahead. It is pretty cool to try it out for the first time and not know what it does, but knowing what it does will make you want to find it!!!

Spoiler:
The Wabbajack is a crazy ass staff that transforms creatures into other creatures! For instance, I used it on a Bear and it turned into a Mudcrab. It doesn't always make things weaker though. I used it on an Imp and it transformed into a Minatour Lord, which is way above my level. The thing wiped me out completely. The funniest thing happened when I changed a guards horse into a Land Dreugh. The guard just fell to the ground and was all angry at me for attacking his horse, that was until the newly transformed creature started attacking him. Needless to say I helped the Dreugh kill that annoying guard, just as we finished the Dreugh turned back into the horse and galloped away!

Here are some updates on the two new Oblivion content packs coming out. They'll cost aroun $1.50 on PC and 150 points on XBL. Much better than the Horse Armor for $1.99 or 250 XBL points.

The Orrery

The Orrery allows you to help the Mages Guild of Cyrodiil repair the Imperial Orrery, an ancient dwarven machine with mystical properties. Bandits have stolen a shipment of parts destined for the Arcane University; if you can return them, the Orrery will function once more.

Features

* A new, full-featured quest, including dialogue, journals, and rewards
* Access to the Imperial Orrery in the Arcane University, an incredible mechanical marvel
* New powers available for your character based on the phases of the moons

The Wizards Tower

Located high in the Jeral Mountains of Cyrodiil away from prying eyes, this Wizard's Tower, Frostcrag Spire, will become available. Packed with numerous useful enhancements, this structure will prove invaluable to magic-oriented characters.

Features

* A fully detailed tower for you to explore
* A breathtaking view of Cyrodiil from the highest point in the land
* Simple furnishings including a bed for leveling up
* An indoor botanical garden with over 130 specimens... including Oblivion-native herbs!
* Summon Atronach Familiars that obey your commands
* Instant teleports to every Mages Guild in Cyrodiil
* New Spell and Recharge vendor in the Imperial City
* Fully upgrade the furnishings in your lair to suit your needs
* Upgrade to a fully functional Enchanting and Spellmaking station with no need to join
* Mages Guild
* Upgrade to a laboratory that buffs your Alchemy skill

Now that sounds AWESOME! They're definately trying to make up for the Horse Armor rip-off.

I have got to buy thus sucker. Too bad money is so low and they raised prices. I'll save some points for those upgrades, along with Street Fighter II, and Geometry Wars.
