“POWER OF THE MEDIA”

Hey Tristan, I really liked the sound of this story, and viewing it from the perspective of someone outside the Turtles circle is a cool concept.
To me the Turtles look even more dangerous in this way, and come across like a legend or Urban Myth, I love that air of mystery that this creates.
A story like this puts the Turtles in the real world, which is an atmosphere that the comics have lacked, except for issue 36 of course.
It's a shame that this won't see the light of day.

Instead we get -- do I even need to give examples? Anyways, thanks for sharing. See, now this is taking TMNT in new directions while still maintaining the essential core.

Tristan, I still say these are to good to let go. Maybe you could convince them into doing out of cannon graphic novels or specials?

Eight lanes of shimmering cement running from here to Pasadena. Smooth, safe, fast. Traffic jams will be a thing of the past. I see a place where people get on and off the freeway. On and off, off and on all day, all night! Soon there will be a string of gas stations, inexpensive motels, restaurants that serve rapidly prepared food!
