yeah, I thought that was ironic too that he doesn't try to be the funny one in the old toon. Actually I kinda appriciate that he doesn't try to be funny in the 80's toon, it makes him a bit more bearable to watch. any version where Mikey doesn't run his mouth nonstop is one I can appreciate.

I voted for Krang because I thought he was a hoot. But I really wish there had been an option for Krang and Shredder because these two together where freakin' hillarious.

I think Raph from the 80's toon proves that a character doesn't have to use slap stick or act stupid to be comic relief. This is how Mikey in the current toon should be written to be funny.

though I agree that Raphael shows that humour in cartoons doesn't have to be slap stick all the time to be funny I don't agree that old toon Raph brand of humour is the way NT Mikey should not be a carbon copy of the past.

The thing that made Shredder and Krang so funny is that they acted like an old married couple, with Bebop and Rocksteady as their unruly teenage kids. Their interactions where pricelss.

uh...maybe its because I'm new to the 80's toon but I haven't gotten the impression that Krang and Shredder act like an old married couple.
