why are all the...

TMNT rap songs good? really, i noticed. look at turtle power, that rap song was awesome, with very good lyrics. and go, ninja, go ninja go! was very catchy, and sung by vanilla ice, a celebrity for his ice ice baby and other songs i really dont care about. then theres shell shocked for the tmnt movie soundtrack. that song was awesome. i still listen to it at least once a day. it really has to do with ninja turtles if you listen close to the words, but theyre not saying it directly. it was by the gym class heroes, a very famous band for cupids chockhold and other songs i dont care about. i also thought the tmnt pick a theme songs were good too, but they dont really count. i left a poll up to see which rap song was the best. plz vote.

I like Turtle Power, but the other two are frail.

T-U-R-T-L-E POWER!!! hands down the superior of the three. Although my all time favorite TMNT related song is Shredder's suite.

Turtle Power w/o a doubt. The beat, the lyrics, and the style is so much better than the others. Man I miss that type of old school music.

This is probably the old fogey in me talking, but Turtle Power is still the best one of the bunch. Ninja Rap was cheesy and Shell Shock's lyrics were too fast to follow along to. Sure, Turtle Power had a ****-up in the lyrics to fit the rhyme scheme, but that didn't take away from it's awesomeness.

This is true...

I dunno, I kinda have a soft spot for them all; Vanilla Ice's simply being because... it was the highpoint, after all.

Really, I have to go listen to them all now.

EDIT - I digress. Shell Shock is out. It sucks. Plus, it mentions Bebop and Rocksteady. Hellooooo.

Turtle Power is the best. The song is so classic.

I like the Ninja Rap too, but it isnt as good.

I cant think of Shell Shock, is it from TMNT 3?

Shell Shock is awesome. It completely captures the cleverness, attitude, and playful aspects that go hand in hand with the turtles. And to think the song was just a freestyle originally, just heavy with Ninja Turtle references.

"Skippity Bebop, we rock steady..."--I don't care what anyone says. That's sick.

It's from the CGI flick; plays during the credits.

Yeah... "Raphael is the leader of the group?" What was that all about?
Of course, there are some you left out...

That horrible "Ninja Turtles Rap" that was on one of the comic book and cassettes, made by Random House. The voice acting was bad enough... but WOW!!! I'm glad I only heard that once.

"Everybody"- the last Japanese opening to 2k3... I'm pretty much the only one on the site that likes it, I imagine. But mostly for the breakdown corus "You can change the world today"... that's the best part.

And of course the 2 alternate themes for BTTS, which we won't even go into.

But I liked Turtle Power and Shell Shock.

Ninja Rap sucks only cuz Vanilla Ice did it. Yucko!

Ah okay. I've only actually watched the CGI movie twice so far; once in cinema and once on DVD. I can't remember the song at all but I can't see it beating Turtle Power - the song is just magical. "In a half shell, they're the heroes four.." CLASSIC.

Turtle Power is epic.
Vanilla Ice is fail.
I mentally blocked out all of the music from the fourth film except Black Betty, and I thought even then that it was hosed in the movie.

And Dr. Tooth, you're not alone. Everybody is awesome.

I voted for Ninja Rap, the coolest part of TMNT2.

Turtles take to the dance floor.

Mikey & Vanilla Ice party!

Mikey on keytar.

I had to vote for Turtle Power. It's just awesome...I still know all the lyrics I used to love Ninja Rap, but that was I thought Vanilla Ice was so cool..... As for Shell Shock, it okay....I like driving or cleaning to it. It's got a good hook, but I agree with Krow. The lyrics just fly right by & it's tough to catch what they're saying.

I voted Turtle Power because the plot of the movie is told throughout the song which is awesome. As for the "Ninja Turtles Rap," that is mentioned, i loved hearing it after reading/listening to the Random House comic and cassette that I owned for years. Sadly they are both gone (parents said i outgrew it), but i would love to have it again.

I'm listening to Shell Shock right now. It's better than I expected. But nothing compared to Turtle Power or Ninja Rap.
Turtle Power is so epic it makes me shiver. Ninja Rap is still cool, I really like that scene in the 2nd movie.

Actually, you can find that song right here

Should be tmntrap.mp3 if you wish to hear it again.

Can't say I wish to, though.
