Awesome score, great episodes.
I have them from when I was a kid too. Although I never did get the turtle snatchers one. I like how freebie VHS tapes from BK could have awesome episode specific artwork on the cover, but mass release TMNT DVDs get garbage recycled artwork. I'm saving all my VHS tapes mostly for the sweet covers. |

I LOVE thrift shop shopping, I have found SO many great TMNT items hidden away, and I have a great extended family that does as well. The most recent score was a complete knitted sweater template book for old school toon sweaters!

Every serious toy collector should check out their local thrift shops periodically, I've gotten tons of figures, including TMNT, at ridiculously low prices. Granted, you seldom get accessories, and sometimes they're in kind of rough shape, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than eBay. If nothing else, customizers can find a lot of inexpensive fodder/parts.

I go as many times as possible they add new stuff all the time.
The best I ever found was when I was just getting a full set of the four turtles loose nice and shiny with all accessories. The one I was missing at the time was Mikey... WHICH I found, TOTALLY un-played with in mint condition and all his accessories in a bag of lego at Value Village. SWEET!
