Favorite decade of the Ninja Turtles?

*CyberCubed* · 01-03-2010, 10:39 AM

The Turtles have gone through 3 decades, the 80's, 90's, and 2000's.

Each decade has brought more to the TMNT franchise. Which decade was your favorite?

Ulisses31 · 01-03-2010, 10:43 AM

No Multiple choice? I like all. So I will not vote in only one.

*Original TMNT Cartoon Fan* · 01-03-2010, 10:57 AM

1980's. The years it all begun.

*ToTheNines* · 01-03-2010, 11:33 AM

I had to go with 2000's. I was 11 when the NT started, so you can imagine how awesome that was for me. We've had some really awesome issues of Tales. But Turtles Forever is what pushed this past decade to be my favorite.

Buffy · 01-03-2010, 12:39 PM

For me it's the 90's. Ah, the nostalgia!

I almost want to vote the 2000s for Turtles Forever alone but...honestly, the main reason I got so excited for that was to see the 87 Turtles again. I loved the new show, and I was really happy to hear we'd get to see the commic Turtles too, but it was all about the classic show for me again. And since I was born in 89, I obviously didn't know the Turtles till the 90s, so I had the toon and the movies to go with. So I'm voting 90s.

Wasn't 90s when Next Mutation came out too? I don't see that on th - *looks down barrel of Peter Laird's shotgun* - ...N-never mind.

SparkyMarky644 · 01-04-2010, 07:49 AM

The 80's was my favourite decade as that was when I got into the Turtles and when it was invented.

Sword Slicin' Leo · 01-04-2010, 08:08 AM

i'd say '88-'92 were there PRIME of tmnt for me

*Guitar_Raph* · 01-04-2010, 08:13 AM

I voted for the 90's because you forgot two things... Next Mutation & Coming Out Of Their Shells.

Are they the Mediterannean & Baltic Monopoly properties of TMNT?

prophecy718 · 01-04-2010, 09:17 AM

for me it was 90s.

I mean everything was great in the 90s

Like most of us here, i was born in the 80s and grew up loving the turtles.

Godzilla · 01-04-2010, 09:30 AM

I suppose the 1990's for me.

The turtles sure started the '90's decade on a high note, and following the Bat-Mania of 1989, I was all about the turtles for the next couple of years.

90's, the early 90's mostly from 1990-1995 reminds me of wheni was a wee-lad

*tone-master21* · 01-04-2010, 09:04 PM

I went with the 90s.

*Andrew NDB* · 01-04-2010, 09:35 PM

Pound for pound sh*t vs. quality, probably the 90s.

*Powder* · 01-04-2010, 10:11 PM

Image comics, toy boom, movies, all my favorite stuff. ARCHIE...

DonatelloDomeHead31 · 01-04-2010, 11:19 PM

I chose the 80s because it is where it started for me and the turtles. anytime my family and i ordered a pizza, it reminded me of the ninja turtles.

Then when the first movie came out, i thanked the 80s for starting the turtles

*Original TMNT Cartoon Fan* · 01-05-2010, 06:12 AM

Didn't the Turtlemania peak begun already in 1989, when the long season 3 airing.

Donny · 01-05-2010, 11:18 AM

I grew up with the old toon as a child, which is why I have so many nice memories from that time. I was so excited every time I got a new toy

So I have to say the nineties
