Yes, it was for Playstation, they made so many megaman games for that system...the 3-d ones were legends series i think, but then if you want a taste of how 3-d turns a good game crappy, play Megaman 64, LOL!.

Mario 64 was bad for mario, I haven't played sunshine yet though... I'd rather stick to mario party, that is a fun game...

The sonic adventures are such crap...the music is such garbage, they got a stupid band to do there own music instead of actually using instruments to make their own toons...

Why was it bad for Mario?

Mega Man 64 is essentially Mega Man Legends for PSX. Mega Man Legends 2 was a much better game. BTW I don't know what you're begining to talk about tokka. Mario 64 was bad for the series? I suppose LoZ:OoT was bad for the Legend of Zelda series too right?

How many times do i have to say I never played a Zelda game???

Anyway, Mario 64 just served no purpose...I mean, was the object to get all the stars or to beat bowser or what??? I mean, there was no level order or anything, I just didn't see the point...whatever

Well It was a good game, maybe it didn't have a good story behind it, but mario games never do. It's about game play. And it was great.

Oh my god! That's the best reason for a game not being good I've heard for years! I'm totally on your side now, Tokka. <not>

The purpose, in nearly all Mario's adventures, have been to save the Mushroom kingdom from Bowser/Koopa/whatever, and that's usually it.
So that doesn't make SM 64 different from the others concerning that point, right?
Objective one: Beat Bowser
Objectvie two (only if you found Ob.1 not too challenging): Find all the stars.
Fully understandable, yes.

And the freedom to chose level freely was very good, I don't see anything wrong with that.

I don't know...some of the gameplay was a bit shaky...They were clearly experimenting with 3-d with this game, having no intention on making it quality, since only the name won it big bucks, lol

It was voted for the bes game of the year in many places... And it is the game that basicly started the 3d platformer genre.

Tokka that last remark has just shown me what kind of a gamer you are. Basically that's no kind of gamer at all.

Ok, I wrote that wrong...I meant I hate most 3-d games...and I realize 90% of them are 3-d, which is why I like the old games...Hmm, for some reason I assumed you knew that, oh well...

Can someone please think of mario?!
I like games, doesn't matter if it's 2d or 3d, as long as it's a good game

No ture gamer in the world can say Mario 64 was a non-quality game. Bottom Line.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but not everyone has to like what you like in order to be what you call a "true gamer"......

No that's not exactly what I mean. I mean there isn't a respectable gamer who can say Mario 64 was a bad game.
