Why did you change the cost from $100 to $500? That's as ridiculous as it gets.

Sure they can produce one, but I assure you, not a one of us fans is that die-hard as to re-buy all the stuff over again for "eleventy million dollars!"

To be honest I can see them re-releasing the series down the road, but we don't have to re-buy it, its obviously for new fans from the Nick show or people who missed out on the first releases.

The only time I will double-dip is if somehow Planet of the Turtleoids winds up on a DVD I don't have...

Or if there are worthwhile bonus features, like Turtle Tips?

How about a few clips from the Nick series if say Season 10 is released a month or two before the new show? Sneak previews are sure to draw some fans.

My mind is absolutely boggled by the suggestions of not releasing all of the final season at once. We shouldn't hope for or expect some cheapie release like that; I may be too optimistic here, but ideally we'd get a two-disc set with all of season 10, the specials, plus any cool special features just to top off the whole series. Don't encourage Lionsgate to release a barebones piece of crap with only half a season just because the first four eps were released over seven years ago.

What's worse is, it wasn't even the first four episodes. It was the first two (which weren't even in order lol) and then the 6th and 7th episodes.

I wouldn't expect Lionsgate to object to re-releasing those 4 episodes. We got Plan 9 from Channel 6 on volume 6 and then again when they switched to the season sets in order for them to release season 4 as one complete package. I expect season 10 to be complete as well.

Oy. Yeah, I don't wanna put up with that kinda disc-swapping. Season three of the 2K3 is already a chore. :p

How is there not enough disk space for extras even if they do the whole season? There was room for bonus features on the Season 7 disks that all contained 6 to 7 episodes. This season is 8. We used to get disks with 13 episodes per disk. It shouldn't be even the slightest problem to fit all 8 episodes on one disk and special features if they cared to. Not released the entire season is retarded and they'd be really retarded to only do 4 episodes. No one would buy that.

I'd buy a boxset in a heart beat special features or not. I'd personally prefer a condensed box set to an entire rack on my DVD self being taken up by OT disks. Not that they would but if they put time into it they could do some cool artwork for it as well. Though they have been getting better about the art to a degree. It could come in a coffee table comic book form, a cube, or even a box with disks inside either cases or little books with episode names and maybe descriptions. These are all sets I've seen or own. I've noticed even if initial releases are half ass'd they usually do nice stuff like this with sets.

Special packaging like that usually scratches the hell out of the discs.

If given only two options for the final set: between a complete season 10 set or a set with the 4 unreleased season 10 and the 3 missing episodes, I'm going to choose the latter because it will complete the series on DVD. I'd rather keep the bit rates down, so the quality is better, so that is my most preferred release, but if they released all the eight season 10 episodes with the three missing episodes, I'd be fine with that. What I don't want is only the eight season 10 episodes on it, because it likely means we'd never get the other three episodes ever on DVD.

The casual turtles fan isn't going to care about Lord Dregg, so the more episodes with Shredder on it, the better it will sell.
