I'd like to see Spidey vs. TMNT. Ninja skills or no ninja skills, there's no getting around Spidey sense. And remember, Spidey's such a badass that he defeated an earlier version of the X-men by himself. Daredevil vs. TMNT would also be interesting, since they're practically siblings.

Raph vs. Wolvie would obviously end in Raph's death. Sorry guys, but Wolvie has all of the same ninja training (and endless experience), not to mention his skeleton, a meaner temper, claws that would shred (heh) any weapon the Turtles could throw at him, that mighty healing factor, and increased senses. Hell, I'd almost say that Wolvie would kick all of the Turtles asses. Those are his favorite kinda odds.

NINJA SNIKT!

Ooh... Interesting matches proposed! 'Specially liked the Rogue VS Irma idea. How about these odd match-ups?

Leonardo VS Psylocke
Raphael VS Arch-Angel
Donatello VS Storm
Michelangelo VS Colossus

That'd be sweet... but would realistically end in Spidey's defeat.

Quote:

Actually, the 'spider sense' really doesnt compare to the ninja skill of sakkijutsu (note how the tmnt can fight effortlessly when blinded in a recent issue of the comic). No contest there. Spiderman can 'sense danger' but he can't fight blinded.

That it would be....

Quote:

Not likely, Raph is a better fighter.

Quote:

Actually, no, he really doesn't.....

Quote:

You assume that the turtles, as ninja, would clash weapon against weapon when fighting him, which is not at all how you fight in ninjutsu....

He would be lucky if wasn't coughing out his own blood in the first move (pressure points are nasty!!)

uhhh.... right.

Quote:
Leonardo VS Psylocke
Cool fight, Leo would win.

Quote:
Raphael VS Arch-Angel
Cool fight, Raph would win.

Quote:
Donatello VS Storm
Really close fight, but Donny would come out on top (mutant powers dont match up against ninja stealth--cant blast what yah cant see)

Quote:
Michelangelo VS Colossus
This would be a REALLY close one... but I'd say Mikey's agility, quickness, and creative intelligence would give the fight to him.... he would probably fight him indirectly by making him run into stuff that will fall on his head or something... besides, once again, hard to clobber a guy with ninja stealth.

Quote:
Casey Jones vs.Crimson Commando
Im not familiar with this character.

Quote:
Raph vs. Omega Red
Damn... i think Raph would be in trouble on that one... his hotheadedness would probably be his downfall.....

Quote:
Mikey vs. Toad
No contest, Mikey would kill him.

Quote:
Leo vs.Sabretooth
Interesting fight... but I think Leo's skill would give it to him...

Quote:
Don vs. The Blob
For all the Blob's power, I would say Don's ninja stealth and intelligence would give the fight to him....

They're odd.

Re: ho hummm

Debating Spidey-senses reaction to being blinded is kinda iffy all-around, especially considering that it would rely on the Turtles being able to blind Spidey. If he's at the top of his game, no matter what they throw at him, he's going to sense it and react to it in time to save himself. Now whether or not his reflexes are perfect are where it gets really iffy. It would be a great battle. I'll say this: Spidey has the superior physical prowess and has experiences taking out whole groups of heroes.

Now if we're talking Ultimate Spidey... no match. Turtles win.

Quote:

Heh. In what fan-fiction? I'm sorry, but even if he were a "better fighter" (*COUGH*horseshit*COUGH*), unless Raph is going to somehow singlehandedly remove Wolvie's head from his adamantium laced body and sent it to Cleveland by way of First Day Delivery from FedEx (cause otherwise, Wolvie would just cancel the delivery... he's that damn good!), there's really nothing he could do to genuinely hurt Wolvie. And Logan is clearly the more attractive male. So !

Quote:
Actually, no, he really doesn't (have the same training).....
Sure he does, probably better training (from many sources, probably of a more broad nature than the turtles) and oodles more experience, not to mention a lot of lovely instincts/berserker rage that have proven very effective in the past. Add to that inherent strength, healing abilities, an invulnerable skeleton, heightened senses... NINJA SNIKT!!

What, you think he's never taken on ninjas before? Simple, average (in the sense of power) ninjas? They're his lightwork.

Quote:
You assume that the turtles, as ninja, would clash weapon against weapon when fighting him, which is not at all how you fight in ninjutsu....
No, I was suggesting the pointlessness of the Turtles attempting any tactic against Wolvie, considering his plethora of mutant abilities, enhancements and his own ninjutsu training.

What are they gonna do (assuming they could outpace him)? Gouge his eyes out? He can still rely on his other senses! And the eyes will be good as new within minutes.

Slit his throat? It heals. Remove his appendages? They aren't quite removeable. Drop him in a convenient vat of acid? There's a chance that wouldn't kill him.

Quote:
He would be lucky if wasn't coughing out his own blood in the first move (pressure points are nasty!!)
Please. Even if Logan weren't familiar with these moves (which he should be, he learned them decades before the turtles were born), it takes much more than coughing up blood to stop a man who survived having the adamantium leeched from his bones. (Good 'ole X-men #25). A man who can have his entire arm skewered down to the bone and have it heal within minutes. What are they gonna do? This is the guy who is fun to torture, because you know he'll survive it.

Of course, all of this relies on the Turtles not being sensed long before they get close to Wolverine. Sorry, but there's few truths in life, and one of them is that Wolverine can kick just about anyone's ass. I'd bet money on Wolvie making Superman bleed.

Donatello VS Storm

Really close fight, but Donny would come out on top (mutant powers dont match up against ninja stealth--cant blast what yah cant see)
The laws of electrciity unfortunately don't respond to ninja stealth, especially when manipulated by Ororo Munroe. Certainly the fight could go Donny's way if he gets the first lick (flawed, but good example: Toad vs. Storm in the X-men movie), but after that he's screwed. As I've said in many a superhero showdown debate.... how do you dodge lightning? Ya don't. How do you dodge gale winds and hail? Ya don't. The best thing that Donny has going for him is his WOODEN bo, which wouldn't conduct electricity.

Michelangelo VS Colossus
Yeah, that Peter's such a knucklehead. He's always getting tricked into bludgeoning himself with large pieces of real estate.

Quote:
(Omega Red vs. Raph) Damn... i think Raph would be in trouble on that one... his hotheadedness would probably be his downfall.....
Funny how Wolvie had held his own against this very character on many occasions *using* his hotheaded instincts.

Agreed.

Well... maybe not Ray Park's Toad... nah, nevermind.

Wow, the best retort you have is a condescending emoticon? Good grief. I never thought I'd meet a whole community of frigging Ninja Turtles elitists.

Resort? Truly when you say something like that, what else I could do? You seem to be a comic fan and then say something like that... You are speaking of thinhs you know nothing about. I think you need your daily dose of Pokemon. Don't worry, it's not indie crap!

And what exactly is your point, Mr. More-Indie-Than-Thou?

Being a comics fan doesn't meant that I take some indie ******** version of the Turtles, which a minority of the comics community (much less the world) even think MATTERS, seriously. Nor do I have to acknowledged this uppity, deluded bunch of whiny fanbitched who continue to demean what was a happy center to most of our childhoods. But I'm willing to put aside those opinions and go with what I have. What have you got but snickering condescension? Say something worthwhile.

With out the indie "sh**" there would not be the goofy cartoon you seem to love. I think you should go grow up, and then try to have a real conversation.

If you want to call having the same conversation you've had online for years interesting, then by all means, continue.

I've been reading this board (and similar ones) for a while now and have come to a conclusion. It's very simple.

You don't matter.

Your opinions don't matter, because no one remembers your version of these characters. Source or no source, they still won't matter.

Your arguments don't matter, because a majority of you present them with such disrespect for what the rest of us cherish, those "goofy cartoons."

Your comic doesn't matter. It never did. It will never matter. Even if the new TV series is a carbon copy of the comics, no one is going to go back to those books. If the show's a big hit, Time isn't going to do a big cover story given credit to Laird/Eastman and condemning the original cartoon. Decades from now, the Turtles are not going to be mentioned in the comics hall of fame. Why? Because, other than being source material for some of the greatest kids entertainment in history, these were overall LUKEWARM COMICS. Other than the satirical value of the first issue, they are relevant only to those that loved the real turtles... oh and a few whiny, elitist wankers. THEY DON'T MATTER. Pokemon matters. At least it has a place in history. This **** doesn't.

Now do you have anything to add on the topic?

Dare you debate the sex appeal of Wolverine/Hugh Jackman? Come on, bring it!

Wow that's pretty gay. I mean, I wouldn't be talking about the sex appeal of Wolverine. Yeah, I stick to my opinion if that being pretty damn gay.
