A Little Turtle Story

You wouldn't believe what I did. Okay... we first had to pick a movie, a song, a work of art, etc. and do an essay on how it ties in with "self-exploration" (almost sounds hippy-ish

) Anyway, being the turtle lover that I am, I chose to use the first Ninja Turtle movie as my reference. We were supposed to show a clip and when I did, everyone was upset when I had to stop the tape.

You wouldn't believe. Even during my presentation, EVERYONE (including the teacher) was talking about the ninja turtles, how cool they were and who was their favorite one! My teacher first dissed the turtles when I asked the class who had not seen it. About three people raised their hand, and the teacher raised her and said "and I'm glad I didn't!"

But after I showed the clip of April getting robbed and the turtles coming to her rescue for the first time, she said she "was actually now intrigued!" It was great!!!

Now... everyone's saying my presentation was the best and they're going to start watching the new show!

It's good to know the Ninja Turtles are still in the hearts of many! I just had to get this off my chest... it was so touching for Ninja Turtle fans everywhere!
