Making new characters into old characters
Well, so far we seen an evil scientist turn into the Rat King (and before that we seen a Bishop clone become Rat King), and then we saw the Pulverizer turn into Mutagen Man. What's the general consensus of them getting new characters and transforming them into classic mutants of old?
Granted with the Rat King we never knew exactly who or what he was before he turned as such, so we have more creative freedom, but it's interesting that instead of a random delivery boy, they turned what is basically a teenage Zach into Mutagen Man. That's almost like making Harry Osborne get bitten by the radioactive spider instead. So what do you guys think about it? For example, how would you have felt if Chris and Bradford turned into Bebop and Rocksteady when they got mutated? Xever is still a street punk, but neither Bebop or Rocksteady owned a martial arts dojo before mutation. And assuming Mutagen Man keeps his personality as before, the original didn't have the superhero complex. What if Baxter mutated into something else that wasn't a fly? What if Murakami was mutated into Panda Khan? If Karai became Mona Lisa? Hell, what if Irma appears and SHE gets mutated into Mona Lisa?
