Well, my knowledge of Archie is still growing but I have read some of them. Personally, I found the torture of Michelangelo by the government agent to be darker than I was used to, though I did like that it gave Leonardo and Donatello a chance to charge in and kick some tail around, reminding me again why I think Donatello's anger can be scarier than Raphael's. Plus, Leonardo was always the calm one to me in the old series so seeing real anger on his face was awesome.

"Insane in the Membrane" was really disturbing... Baxter's face, his finger falling off, the horrible screaming, him hallucinating that April was his mother... *shudders*
