Personally, and this is just me, but I would rather see someone go OT WITHIN a thread, and have that OT-ness be contained, rather than an entire new thread be created for the sole purpose of continuing a brief, random, OT conversation. If someone is talking about TMNT 2: Secret of the Ooze, and I feel like making a Kevin Nash joke, I'm not gonna start an entire new thread for the purpose of one joke.

Oh goodness, no...if you just make one joke about him, within the context of something in the thread, thats fine. we're talking about stuff that REALLY gets out of hand...(heh, you have my email, you'll see some examples there...  )
