Under what circumstances is it deemed necessary to have more girls? You want 50:50 ratio just to be fair? It's fine as it is.

Like in My Little Pony, does anyone care or complain about the severe lack of male characters? Nope, cause it's a girl show. Tmnt is a boys show and will be treated as such. Plus girl toys in boys show doesn't sell much so that's to bear in mind. Remembering past history, many other shows got cancelled because their toy line didn't do well. It might be the same case for Nick too.

With the recent addition of Irma (a prominent/significant role at that) it's enough for now imo. They can add more should the story plot need it and not because of some females demand it. Heck what about handicapped people! Just Mr Murakami? How unfair!! Black people need more than Baxter Stockman!! More black people!!

See?
