So let's be clear: you have a problem with Zack as a screenwriter, not a director. Both 300 and SuckerPunch are both visually and directionally sound, and pretty grabbing... even if yes, at the end of the day both are somewhat hollow affairs at heart.

Solution: have someone else write the screenplay.
