One thing I just thought of...

I'm wondering if Xever and Rahzar end up dying in the season finale? This might be how they bring in Bebop and Rocksteady (he has Baxter make 'replacements') and it would be a seamless transition from the old goons to the new ones. Shredder just might end up sacrificing everything in his craziness, and I wouldn't be surprised if he sends his old goons to their deaths.
