The Hollywood Reporter is reporting the Turtley Awesome news that film director and screenwriter Tim Hill is currently writing the pilot for a brand-new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" project titled "The April O'Neil Files" for Nickelodeon!

It is currently unknown whether "The April O'Neil Files" will be a brand-new TMNT spin-off series or special, or a all-new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie.

Tim Hill's credits includes "Rocko's Modern Life", "KaBlam!", "Action League Now!", "SpongeBob SquarePants", "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie", "Alvin and the Chipmunks", "Hop", "Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever", "Short Circuit", "Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties", "Muppets from Space", "100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd" and "Max Keeble's Big Move"
