Belated Intro

[Dizmone]

Hello,

Not much of a forum poster but as my collection has grown I feel interaction would make my hobby more engaging. I have been quietly wondering around the forum for a few years, mostly the toy section to get heads up on new releases.

I am almost 31 and was a kid during the late 80's into 90's turtle craze. Didn't read the comics until mid 90's and lost interest before the 2003 series started.

Gained interest again in '08 when my son was born and now we both are enjoying the 2012 series together. The new series came out right as my son turned four which is about the same age I was when the original series started.

This has focused my collection on the 80's toy line, Mirage based items, the first three movies, and the Nickelodeon series. I feel no connection with the '03 series or the Next Mutation.

Anyways, just want introduce myself before I contribute.

Oh, and my favorite character is Casey Jones. This is my costume at Planet Comic Con in Kansas City.

Cheers
