Movie costumes

Ok, so the 1st movie rocked! The costumes are great, it follows the story line pretty good, it was a hit. The 2nd aint too shabby, the costumes are a little different, they were better in the first, but then we hit movie #3. ACK! they are like grass green and shiny/rubbery looking.
Now why couldnt they keep the costumes from #1?

I liked them in the Next Mutation alright too, what erked me though is like mikey for example has that stupid hat-bandana. But they looked so awasome "bulked-out".

Your thoughts?
