TMNT actor help

As most of you know, I'm steadily a DJ among my scattered TV, voiceover and composing gigs. I have an uncle in NC who is a KJ (Karaoke jockey) and one of his employees was an actor named Mike Massey. He eventually had to let him go because he couldn't get a crowd going, but, this guy said he was the original Leonardo. Says he wore the suit for Leo in the 80s. Now, I know that the original voice was Cam Clarke and that the movie was made in 1990 so don't start a jumpin' on me as if I haven't been following the TMNT my entire life

Heh. Okay. Anyway, were there any TMNT projects that required an actor to wear a suit in the 80s? Was there a music tour in the 80s or did that only follow the movie? Has anyone heard his name associated with TMNT? Just interested.
