Nickelodeon Rocksteady was of Russian origin but his real name, Ivan Steranko, may indicate half-Ukrainian roots. After all, Russias and Ukrainian lived together in the Soviet Union prior to December 1991.

Also knowing Nickelodeon Rocksteady was a former arms dealer and war criminal, this raises some questions.

The year after he joined the Foot in 2013, Russia annexex Crimea in March 2014 and in February 2022, Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
