I'm just pretty much done with the "mashup" thing. Had these gotten released first during this fad, I would've been all-in.

But the thing that was closest to delivering on authentic enjoyment for me was Thundercarts x MOTU. And that's because they surpassed "novelty" by delivering on "Thundercats as designed in MOTU" as opposed to pure amalgam. The whole amalgam thing tells me that someone in marketing heard the crossover idea, loved it but couldn't compute it properly and just started crossing characters.

Honestly the 'mashup' concept largely sucks.
