Marsha giggled slightly, shaking her head at his behavior. "Maybe it's because she doesn't want anyone else to know about it," she suggested, not really knowing how or why herself.

Future

"That, amung other things..." Randi replied with a sigh, "But I've got a plan to get them to leave us alone."

"Really?" Marsha asked, shifting to the edge of the couch, a bit more interested in what she had planned.

She stared at him, "The Mutant Militia, Leonardo, they're the ones I've devoted the past ten years of my life against..." ~They're the reason I didn't show up that night...~

"I see..." Leo murmured.

She did so gently and precisely, as if doing so in any other way would harm Leonardo. He felt her other hand touch that scar he had so despirately wanted to hide. "I remember when my shades broke during that one fight with the foot..." Randi didn't need to say anymore on the subject. That had been the first time any of the turtles or friends had seen her real eyes.

He had the urge to jerk away when she touched the scar, but remained still and silent. The foot are gone now... he thought, looking directly at her.
