Junkstabomb!

Have you ever tried to explain slang to "an adult"? Do you remember any expressions you used Back in tha DAY that you don't use anymore?

Once upon a time I tried to explain the expression, "that junks is the BOMB" to the Chief Financial Officer of a major corporation. It means, "that's the best thing ever!" For months after he would randomly point at things he liked and say, "junkstabomb! junkstabomb!" with a manic smile.

That was not appropriate usage of the phrase, but it certainly entertained him.

(Despite how this story sounds, he's actually a cool cat who plays some mean blues piano and introduced me to jam sessions. I'm sure he would say of my JPL's music, "junkstabomb!"
