They announced this a day or two ago, that www.fanfiction.net will be closing their doors on NC-17 material.

While I was desperately hunting around attempting to bookmark personal pages for people who's NC-17 fics I enjoy, or aren't finished yet, I ran across this and decided that I'd ask everyone here who disagrees to with the ruling FF.net is putting up to check it out!

http://www.petitiononline.com/KEEPNC17/petition.html

when I signed there were over 8000 signatures...

thats in about a day and a half! Can we say this was not a popular decision on their part?
