. So that everyone is aware for when Fast Forward airs, Mr. Berger at the official site <www.NinjaTurtles.com> will be listing it as "Year Five - "Fast Forward": 2006/2007" in the episode guide. When The Lost Season arrives on DVD, he plans to add a guide labeled "The Ninja Tribunal DVD series" between Season 4 & 5 to reflect continuity. He has stated, "The episode guide is listed on the TMNT TV page, which inherently means that the episodes listed as a "season" should be aired on television", but calls the idea "a major compromise in my mind, since the "Ninja Tribunal" episodes are not going to be aired on TV". I almost fully agree with this plan because it helps him avoid hundreds or thousands of e-mails from folks asking why they're not seeing those episodes on TV. But, unless I'm mistaken, there is always the possibility that The Lost Season could later be acquired for air on TV. Until then, it will be our great American OVA.

Disclaimer: OVA (Original Video Animation) is an animé term essentially meaning DTV (Direct-To-Video).

Note: Direct-To-Video does not imply exclusivity to videocassette.
