Please forgive me for upholding this info for almost a month, but this comes straight from the horse's mouth.. or rather, Leonardo's.

Last Month, agt Anime Boston, Mike Sinternickleaus (sp?) was a guest, and I got into a conversation with him at his pannel discussion about the Japanese TMNT2k3, which lead to a conversation about FF. He spoke of an upcoming episode in which...

My memory is a little foggy about how he exactly put it, but that's pretty much the effect the episode is going for.

He spoke of an upcoming episode in which... Spoiler: The Turtles battle their monster counterparts, and aftyer they lie badly defeated, Leonardo picks up his evil counterpart and suggests that he's not a bad guy, because deep down, the monsters are made from them.
