Original Toon Sound Clips

I was wondering something. I'm trying to make a stop motion animation TMNT video, and would love clips from the original series.

I know we have 'Original Toon Screen Captures' on here as a sticky, but what about having this thread as a sticky, too?

I don't know if it's considered illegal, as is discussing where to get downloads of episodes from the internet. I was hoping it was legal, since the audio clips would be from personal dvd's.

If anyone could help, I would appreciate it. I have the Window's Recorder on my computer, but I'm not that great at recording. If it's allowed, then we could hopefully have someone nominate themselves to do it?

I hope this is a good idea, and hope it's legal, otherwise, I just made myself look like a jack-ass.
