Mirage and 2K3 Mikey has Klunk the cat.
I don't remember OT Mikey owning a cat, but he does keep a pet or two in some episodes (Maxwell the fish, Pete the pigeon and Ditto the parrot). He even bought a couple of piranhas (?) as his birthday present to Raphael. Archie Mikey was given a step further that he can actually communicate with animals, too.
