Sleepily, Randi opened one eye and stared at her ‘sensei’, “…Eh?”
“Anata wa no namae wa nan desu ka!”
“Oh… uh…”
“A-na-ta wa no na-ma-e wa Nan de-su ka!”
“Anata—no, wait—Watashi wa no namae wa Grei desu. Where are we anyways?”
“Well, if you hadn’t been sleeping,” The 'Sensei' replied, “the past two hours you would know.”
“Hey, I need to sleep some times ya know…”
“And yet you never sleep when it is convenient.”
“Yes I do, Li-san, just not when it’s convenient to you.” Randi quickly replied, “Now where are we?”
“Manhattan.”
“New York?” Grey looked a bit started.
“No. Texas.” Li replied drolly.
“…Har… har… har… what are we doing here?”
“We’ll be living here.” She answered.
“For how long?”
“For however long it takes, Miranda.”
“Well if this just isn’t the bee’s knees.” Randi muttered, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
