The look on the female’s face was utter shock as if she had just seen some one who’s been dead for years suddenly come back to life; she shook her head in attempts to regain her mental grounds and scowled at the four. As far as she knew, these four were bounty hunters and well trained ones at that. ‘That Michelangelo,’ She thought, ‘He must have been the one to sense me…’

"Damn," Mike thought to himself, "what's with the scowl?? She's actin' like we're trying to kill her.... uh-oh, she's eyein' me pretty weird there."

~Give me one good reason why I shouldn't think you to be bounty hunters.~ She told Mike telepathically; since he was the strongest psychic of the four, maybe he’d be able to reply in the same manner.

"Damn!" Mike thought to himself, doing his best to conceal his thoughts from Miranda, "She can actually talk inside my head! She's better at this wicky-mental stuff than I thought."

Michelangelo sensed Leonardo step a little closer towards him, probably as back-up should the need arise. 'Good ol' Leo'.

Mike looked at Miranda straight in the face and smiled warmly, trying to help her see they were not her enemies. "I'm sorry if we suprised you," Mike said out loud, somewhat to Miranda's dismay, "we're not your enemies. We heard you wandering around out here and just wanted to help."

"By the way," he added with a smirk, "if you've got something to say, you can say it to all of us. We're brothers, you know." Mike wondered if any of the others could hear Miranda's telepathic message. It WAS directed to him, but.....

Silence.....

"Well, how about if we just get you something to eat?? You look hungry... how about it?" Mike extended his right hand in a very warm, welcoming manner....
