Shredder has a strange name,doesn't he?

It seems to me i've already asked about it. But Shredder's name- Oroku Saki... It is very strange. I read some book about China and Japan... The conclusion is that Saki- is a female name and only. And Oroku- it is not a japanese name at all. My good friend from Japan told me about it. May be he is wrong but i don't think he knows Japanese names worse than Eastman and Laird... Does anyone have any idea from where this name comes....

I'm so curious. May be somebody knows...
