The Official 2012-2013 Technodrome "Favorite Turtle" Poll & Discussion

*SEE THIS THREAD FOR OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE POLLS!*

As the title suggests, this is the official Technodrome 2012-2013 "Favorite Turtle" poll. So, Technodrome members, who is your favorite Turtle, and why?

I encourage discussion about why you prefer a certain Turtle, even if you feel blue in the face at this point in answering that question. Something you say might spur an interesting conservation about our favorite mutant reptiles. Please refrain from simply stating "My favorite Turtle is (insert name here)." Explain!

As for me, my true favorite will always be Donatello. He's been my Turtle of choice since I was young. I've gone on "kicks" with the other three, but Donnie holds the main spot. I relate to him most out of the four for many reasons. He enjoys intellectual battles rather than physical ones, which is a big reason I always favored Don. There is a darker, deeper side to his character that perhaps only Raphael can match. Perhaps that is because Laird also favors Donatello and therefore delved deeper into his character, likewise for Eastman and Raphael. Whatever the case, there's no denying that Donatello has a dark side that sometimes manifests itself in both Mirage, IDW, and even the OT.

My favorite version of Donnie is the first film, that movie holds a special place in my heart. I, unlike others here, enjoy the fact that he wasn't insanely technical to the point of Einstein genius: I like that he was still skilled in the area of mechanic (the Casey truck scene), a thinker (his hand is often on his chin denoting thought), and I liked how he let loose a little more often than we see in Mirage - an OT influence. However, the aforementioned character traits I believe are thanks to the Mirage influence that clearly permeates through the first film.

I could go on about Donnie (See "The Donatello Thread")...anyway, who is your favorite, and why?!
