I wonder if this is supposedly the exclusive repaints that the US was supposed to get. The UK got the Commando turtles, and we got the Swat turtles. I wonder how close they look to the UK releases. And shoudl we expect the other two turtles with a Swat version of 2 of the other small vehicles?

True, true, but if I buy those Swat turtles AND the mouser 6 pack I'll have 12 mousers! More mousers = good.

SWAT Turtles!? Weird!

I dig the Fighting Gear figures as much as the next guy, but it seems like they're just rereleasing those constantly... It'd be nice if they'd give them new head sculpts or something, at least.

...that's actually a good point & well made Clone Ranger.

Well, I could still buy that Swat Turtles set as I don't think I have any of the toys in the set, so for me it wouldn't be like buying duplicates.

But having 40 dollars left over to buy lotsa mousers seems like an increasingly more attractive idea.

Lets do a little math here...S.W.A.T. set is $50, individual figures are around $6. You could have 8 sets of 6 Mousers...

Dude, you could have an army of 50 Mousers (including what comes with April) for the same amount! Pick up a thing of model car paint, and you could have quite the little Mouser gang.

Hehehehehehehehehe That sounds like an awesome idea, but what if the case assortments for the mousers aren't that many?

You were that kid in the 1st grade that told me there was no way I could jump from the jungle-gym without breaking my arm, weren't you?

With the way TMNT has been going, I don't think case assortments should be much of a concern for anyone. Even the figs like Stonebiter/Razorfist that were originally one-per-every-two cases are very findable now. Playmates seems to have distribution down pretty good...if the Mousers are packed even at 2 per case, within a month of their release, you could probably do that without any trouble.

Just make sure I've found my Mousers first before you start hording all of them

Edit: Oh, yeah...S.W.A.T. Turtles. Anybody have any pics yet? With the way TRU is going (down hill, QUICK), I doubt they'd care if you took a picture.

Not to my knowledge, jumping from the jungle gym is dangerous....unless you do it just right.

Yeah, you got a point there, I've not had a hard time finding any of the new TMNT figures really.

Heh heh, no problem duder, although I dunno if we're in the same area so technically it wouldn't matter.

Yeah, seriously, I haven't even SEEN what we've been discussing all this time. Sucks about toys-r-us though, I've been goin' there since I was a wee lad, dunno where I'll go to get my toys if they close down-sure as hell won't be Wal-Mart though.

The repaints on these vehicles look cooler than the original colors.

I agree, the darker jungle green is more foreboding and mysterious than the green used on the original Battle Shell and Pogo Copters.

Also, I don't know if it was meant to be like this in the original releases, but in here, the two vehicles "interact" with each other - the battle shell has a designated landing pad for the copter on its roof.

I don't like that "rooftop landing" thing...that's pretty cool! (I "don't like it" because that's enough to make me want to buy this)

Man, I wish I hadn't seen those pics...I may actually pick this set up now.

yeah it's a nicely designed combo pack...I think Playmates did a very good job on this one. i might get it myself, especially since I haven't bought a battle shell or pogo copter for myself yet!
