What's an "Ultrom" ?

An utrom is the reason the turtles exist! They're aliens who crash landed on earth, before taking up disguises as humans and starting TCRI, which is where the cannister of ooze came from that mutated Splinter and the turtles. (and Leatherhead!) They came back to earth in vol 4, and basically opened it to all sorts of aliens and what not, thus making the turtles public! They look a bit like basketball sized brains with tentacles and are what Krang in the old toon is loosely based on!
