I also have two different versions of the arcade shoot out, one showing the stone soldiers shooting lasers, one with a frozen image and blaster sounds running over it...
the same thing goes for the introductory scene with michelangelo, in germany where we got the censored(and therefore nunchuk-free) version they let mike interrupt and finnish splinter's sentence naming himself 'the master of the twirling pizzas' in fun...
I got another version that just shows him working the chucks....but in my version they are sporting their 'cartoon original' different colored bandanas and not the red ones...

2.when general traag stes the atomic wheather maker(or what thats gadget's name was) free, it rises and rises into the sky and then it seems to stop in midair and starts sending out these waves...great!
3.lastly when leonardo destroys that thing in the end flying down with his katana striking it in two pieces and then he falls and we see the weather changing while he is falling down to earth...'long whistle' that was amazing, man...
but there were many amazing things happening visually in the first short season...
Oh, yeah, I totally am with you 100%! I think Hot Roddin' Teenagers from Dimension X has the best overall animation in the 5-episode pilot season!

Interesting... what are these "versions" that you own? German video tapes?

When the video finally posts we're getting a double feature:
OverAnalyzers is doing episodes on Krang and how the Turtles get money.

This is like what we Dromers would probably look like if the forum were like an actual club somewhere.

I bet they were stealing cable when using Donny's transdimensional portal thing. Forgot the ep, but he knew that he coudn't get it to work, so they were watching movies through it instead. Yep yep, Donny was stealing them some cable.

I'll have to watch this when I get home. I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of the OverAnalyzer series. I didn't make it through the Optimus Prime episode. (The trailer is full of fly $#!% that was separated from pepper by a guy in boxing gloves...really?) The Krang episode was good, but this might not be my cup of tea.

Honestly, I more or less hate The Overanalyzers. I love James' material, & Mike is a funny dude too, which is why I suffer through it... But really it sucks. The chick's fake accent, the two dudes who virtually offer nothing, it's all very facepalm provoking. I think part of the issue is that it's to a degree scripted, which makes it feel very stiff & awkward. If it were just Mike & James shooting the sh*t (the actual inspiration for this segment) it would be soooo much more enjoyable. But anyway, I did get a kick out of this one, I found it to be the funniest of them all (which doesn't say much but I digress).

Ok...I'll admit it. The out of context use of Shredder's line, "Crack, where?" made me laugh.

Scripted or unscripted, they say some funny stuff. They aren't actors so the dialogue isn't candid but so what.

Ah-ha! I'd forgotten all about that! (Curse Lionsgate for not putting those Turtle Tips on DVD!).

Seriously, though, recycled aluminum must have been going for some serious money in Fred Wolf's New York. Imagine if the turtles were collecting copper to resell...

I feel very ashamed to admit their discussion on how turtles get the money top buy stuff has always been something I've wondered about as a kid and as an adult.

I wholeheartedly agree. I do enjoy it, but I usually just wait till James or Mike talk, and that's when I go back to paying attention. If it were just the two of them, it would be better.

I never really thought about how the Turtles got money. I always just assumed that all their possesions were junk, so they didn't have to pay for that, but I never thought about how they pay for pizza. Too bad Don didn't just fix up some of the junk and sell it for cash. It would be better than selling crack.

Ugh these guys make me groan. They should really know more then they do if they're gonna do this stuff. They're like diet TMNT fans. The comments section always brimming with people that think everything they say is accurate doesn't help me with this problem.
