Yeah the phone was stepped on after they fell through the floor the first time it upset Spiderbites and he yelled "my phone"

Of course it could happen next week, however with what seems to be a majority fear from members on the board that the show will be "mutant of the week" I think it would be better for the show if we meet and get to the know the character of Chris Bradford as a human so that we understand why he would mutate himself or embrace an accidental mutation. Its all just conjecture at this point. Plus I don't think they will mutate Shredder's number two in his first appearance.

I get the feeling we won't be seeing Bradford mutate in the next episode since the kraang don't appear to be in the next episode based on the preview. So maybe Bradford won't become Dogpound until Shredder teams up with the Kraang.

Not crazy about this show. I guess it's too much to hope for that the silliness will ever be any less than it has been for these three eps, so I'm disappointed. I'm still more likely to watch this than a lot of other contemporary cartoons, but I find the silliness too overwhelming to be emotionally invested in the characters or plot. Other than that, I have to say that Spiderbites is the strangest character design I've ever seen for a humanoid spider.

I really enjoyed this ep! I thought it was much better than the premier episodes, probably because we got to see some character development instead of just an “intro to turtles” story. I also thought it was much funnier – less stupid humor and more humor…humor. Favorite parts (in no good order):
Splinter: Spike, chew on your leaf if you are in the mood to hear a story. - A long time ago, a man fell in love with a woman…
Raph: Oh gee, is it that late already-
Splinter: Sit.
- I felt so sorry for Raph when Leo sent him home, though I think Leo was totally justified.
Leo: You left the three of us in a fight so you could go YELL AT SOME GUY!
- Poor Don, nobody uses tape anymore.
- LoL Raph’s a porcupine.

I really liked that part too – Mikey’s not always a punching bag. Though it made me kinda wonder about Donnie who is, apparently, at the bottom of this food chain. I mean, Raph and Leo both got away with it! Big question of the episode: was there really a spider on Mikey?

- All the brotherly banter throughout the ep, which I know some people here will call abuse and bullying. I don’t know, I get a more comradely vibe. Are these forums just full of only-childs?
- Kraang: We should show Kraang this picture of Kraang. (That’s another thing, the Kraang were less annoying this ep)
- Splinter says some line about how ninja’s shouldn’t be seen in HD that was really funny.

Fantastic episode, I was laughing hard the whole time. I don't care much for Spiderbites design (or name for that mattter, ugh) but I like him a lot as a character. Would definitely welcome his return.

Ok so it does seem that Shredder's mono/family crest is a foot. Hmm...interesting.

This was a pretty cool ep. The Kraang are quickly becoming my fav villains for this series. The way they talk and I like that they're a bit narsisistic.

Poor Splinter. He blames himself and his anger issues on the death of his family.

And what kind of spider did that guy mutate into?! I don't know of any species that spits out lava!

Next week: Oh Hai there Chuck Norris...

Just watched the episode (thank you west coast feed) and although I feel it wasn't as exciting as the premiere, it was still really good. It was Raph-centric, but still had focus on the other three and gave us some more insight on the whole Splinter/Shredder rivalry. Also glad to see Raph is starting to learn to control his anger... at least enough that he won 't screw up a mission. Although I felt bad for Raph, Leo sending him back home was completely justified and very leader-like.

Next episode is looking good and we're getting to get some Shredder scenes! Looking forward to it!

Nah, I'm really digging it too. They've got a pretty great dynamic going on between all of them, in my opinion. I'm especially liking some of the one-on-one interactions, like the Raph/Don banter in the first couple of eps, and the Don/Mikey scene in this one. It's cool to see that they all seem to have a unique relationship with each other outside of the four-man team thing.
